Our Story
Since 2009
The Umbrella Man is a Cape Town based company that has distribution capabilities to all the major centres and cities in South Africa. The Umbrella Man, as a brand, was founded in 2009 and is an importer, wholesaler and distributor of rain umbrellas, beach umbrellas and beach chairs. Our warehouse, offices and display showroom is situated in Cape Town but we have distribution networks all over the country. The Umbrella Man has built up a network of suppliers and factories in the East that manufactures premium quality outdoor goods. We also specialise in vendor umbrellas and vendor solutions for outdoor markets in Africa.
Present Days
We have recently developed production capabilities at our factory in Cape Town and source local materials to manufacture the best full coverage digital beach and vendor umbrellas locally. We have very mature and long- term solid relationships with our overseas suppliers and conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that quality is up to our standard and to ensure that large orders are managed correctly to arrive on time. Quality and timeous delivery is imperative and is core to our philosophy.
